Whilst he often listen to his king swallower's rules about never visiting the Outlands as they're filled with the most dangerous and ferocious Lions around. The young Fruit Lion; Daxter however, saw this as an opportunity. To experience the joys of being swallowed and digested by bigger Lions. So Daxter decided to go out into the Outlands to find the best predator he can for the best Fruit Lion experience. Whilst Zira was definitely the best Lion there, he didn't want her to swallow him. As whilst she would eat him, she would tear him apart rather than swallow him whole no matter how much he requested.

However, on his way back to the Pride Lands, he met the scrawniest and skinniest Lion he had ever known; Nuka. The Fruit Lion felt pity for him, as he was extremely scrawny and thin, Daxter didn't want his plump & juicy body go to waste so he offered himself to the young Outlander who (despite kind of having a difficult time) swallowed him up within five minutes. It was in there that he realised that, he was not alone. Nuka had swallowed his own younger brother, so he already had a meal that he could enjoy. So whilst the Outlander belched profusely from his younger brother's resistance and Daxter's large body, the Fruit Lion (whilst still happy he got to be swallowed and most likely digested today) felt betrayed that he wasn't Nuka's first Lion meal.
